Fox Hollies Special School

I will be posting pictures of what our pathway 2, Post-16 pupils have been getting up, come back each week for updates!

Aroosa is helped to saw the wood from a pallet as part of the project class 2C are working on, that is, making a bug hotel.  Here, she is assisted by Ian.

Turkey works in the kitchen area of the flat, where he makes a real speciality, hot crossed buns with red Leicester cheese and tomatoes!  He is then challenged to clean up after.

Cleo is assisted by Ian in removing the nails from wood, using a claw hammer and pliers. She is utilising the forces of pushing and pulling, listening to instructions.

Najma engages with a giant game of snakes and ladders!  She learns about the directional movement of forwards and backwards as well as up and down, taking turns and working alongside her peers.

We are learning about different shops within our community.  Here, a pupil explores Kings Heath High Street and what can be purchased from which shop.  He is identifying where he can get a vegan sausage roll from, matching the shop to the image from Google maps

Ahsanali takes part in a weekly, work based routine.  He helps to water the class plants by adding water to the soil and then spraying the leaves with a water bottle.
