Hope you are all well and safe!
What a bizarre way to start spring term. We hope you have got on ok with the first home learning pack that has been sent out to you? The plan is to post a pack out every 2 weeks for you and your child to work through. As well as the packs we will continue to add links and videos onto our class page, please keep regularly checking. If you are ok with using zoom then you are more then welcome to join the live zoom sessions that have been created.
Please if you need anything at all we are here to help and support you the best we possibly can, if you would like us to arrange 1:1 zoom meetings with a particular member of staff then please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thank you for all your support during this difficult time.
Sarah, Debs, Dave and Zahida.
During this lockdown we have been made aware of some events happening via TV and the internet which we feel students may benefit from.
Starting from Monday 11th January, each weekday on BBC will see a three-hour block of school programming from 9am, including Bitesize Daily as well as educational programmes such as Our School, Celebrity Supply Teacher and much-loved titles such as Horrible Histories, Art Ninja and Operation Ouch.
Sky T.V. if you have it, has a set up selection of programmes for home learning split into different age groups on the home page.
Joe Wickes is back, starting on Monday 11th January at 9am on his You Tube channel. He will be doing 3 live sessions a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They will be 20minutes long and are designed for children. Exercise is important for our children's emotional and mental health.
