Fox Hollies Special School

3S have been learning about the water cycle. We have made a model showing the cycle - containing real water! Pupils have enjoyed making all the different elements including the flock of sheep and all the sea creatures. Well done 3S.

3S in Art and Global learning, we have been looking at both the water cycle and sea pollution. The students have collectively made everything themselves and independently attached their work to the display board.

Over half term students and parents recycled their plastic waste and sent it in, we were able to transform the plastics that usually end up polluting the ocean into great fantastic pieces of Sea Life Art and then use left-over plastics to create a polluted ocean scene.

Students were also able to produce the Water cycle diagram and correctly label it using the key words Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation, and Collection. Students made all the parts needed selecting materials of their own choosing, pipe cleaners to show evaporation, cotton wool to produce clouds - condensation. foil to create rain - precipitation. the ocean sea shows the collection of the water.

3S have worked so hard and are very proud of their work.
