Identify a role model. Re-tell their story and create a character profile describing them. Are all role models famous or are there role models in our everyday lives? Create an exhibition about our role models and why they are special.

Creating self- portraits using different media.

Creative Arts

Arts award Dance, Music and Textiles (Felt making). Students will be working towards a performance of Cinderella – with a difference! Prop and costume making.

Supporting learning at home: Role Models: Who do you think is an amazing person – a real role model? Share this with your son/daughter and find out together about the person’s life. Did they encounter any obstacles or opposition from others? How did they overcome this?

Human changes – look at family pictures and see how people have changed through the years. Make a timeline using pictures of your son/daughter from birth to now (we would love to see these in school).
