Why – Purpose and Rationale
Health and Fitness supports physical and emotional wellbeing. Through movement, students develop body awareness, regulation, confidence, and an understanding of healthy routines.

What – Core Content

  • Movement and coordination (gross and fine motor skills)

  • Nutrition, rest, hydration, exercise

  • Teamwork and resilience-building

How – Teaching and Learning Approaches

  • Engagement: regulation through movement and sensory play

  • Experiences: dance, games, hygiene routines, daily movement breaks
