Life skills

Students’ learning across Pathways 1, 2 and 3 is very diverse and at Fox Hollies Post 16 we recognise this through the tailoring our provision to meet the needs of every learner.

In Pathway 1, learners will experience a wide range of activities designed to give them the very best opportunities to progress towards their individual PfA outcomes.  GRACE???

Learners in Pathway 2 follow ASDAN's Personal Progress (PP) qualifications that incorporate communication and numeracy skills along with community involvement and life skills that have been designed to address the needs of learners with SEN who are working at Entry 1 award and certificate levels.

Learners in Pathway 3 follow ‘Personal and Social Development (PSD)’ qualifications accredited by ASDAN at Entry award and certificate level that also incorporate communication and numeracy skills along with community involvement and life skills. Entry level qualifications provide foundational knowledge about a subject at a basic level of academic study. Entry level qualifications are available in three different sub-categories, which progressively get more difficult: entry levels 1, 2 and 3.

Pupils across the Pathways also take part in a wide range of creative learning, working towards an Arts Award qualification at either Discover or Explore levels.
