We are pleased to share the positive outcome of our recent June 2026 inspection report, which recognises many of the strengths that make Fox Hollies such a special place to learn and belong.
The report describes Fox Hollies as a “vibrant, caring special school” and a “highly inclusive school”, noting “the extent to which staff and leaders understand pupils’ SEND needs precisely”. Inspectors highlighted the positive safeguarding culture, strong attendance and behaviour, inclusive practice, effective leadership and governance, and the school’s focus on personal development and wellbeing.
We are especially proud that the report recognises the warmth of relationships across school, the skill and dedication of our staff, and the meaningful opportunities pupils have to build confidence, communication, independence and preparation for adulthood.
The report also identifies an area for further development around strengthening our whole-school approach to foundational skills, including early writing. This is already part of our ongoing school improvement work.
