Fox Hollies Special School

A.G.M. Thursday 20th June 2019

The Annual General Meeting of The Friends of Fox Hollies School will be held at school on Thursday 20th June, 4.00 p.m.

'The Friends' play an essential part of the life of our school community by organising social events that bring us together and raising much needed funds. Joining 'Friends' activities can help our pupils and families feel less isolated in a fun environment and can make a real difference to pupils' and parents' lives. These events are always well attended with all involved having a great time.

We have a small group of volunteers on our committee and are always keen to welcome new members. We fundraise to maintain and run our minibus, (we are currently replacing this, however we will continue to raise money for future replacements), as you will be aware the bus is vital for the school in transporting our pupils on residential and leisure activities.

By joining the Friends of Fox Hollies Committee you will be able to participate in the organisation and running of our various events throughout the year, we hold about one meeting every half term, normally on a Thursday 4-5pm We try to hold 3-4 events a year.

Please do come forward if you can — you will be warmly welcomed and new ideas are always welcome. It is good if our Committee has a mix of parents, staff and friends of the school.

Thank you.

Alison Watson, Chairperson and Sinead Davies, Head Teacher.
