Skills for Life prepares students for adulthood. It supports independence, communication, and the ability to thrive in real-world environments. Students learn practical, functional tasks that improve confidence and capability.

Daily living routines (e.g. dressing, eating, hygiene)
Money handling and time awareness
Travel training
Community access and social interaction
Enterprise and work-related skills

Engagement: real-life motivation, choice-making
Environments: life-skills kitchens, community visits, in-school shops
Experiences: snack prep, crossing roads, shopping, work placements
Pathway examples:P1: supported routines and object interaction
